This Privacy Policy describes how Pan-Straits may collect, use and share information, particularly in association with the operation of our website (www.pan-straits.com), Pan-Straits-operated pages on social media sites and any HTML-formatted emails or communications that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Pan-Straits Digital Services”).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information Pan-Straits Legal, LLP collects, uses or shares in the course of its lawyer-client relationships, or information that is protected by confidentiality, the lawyer-client privilege, the lawyer work product doctrine or any other, similar protections.

Pan-Straits Legal, LLP is a provider of legal services and the other Pan-Straits entities provide E&P advisory services or otherwise participate in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. The group’s offices share information with each other for business purposes such as internal administration, billing, informing you about our events and services and providing you or your organization with services. To provide the information and services described in this Privacy Policy, a Pan-Straits entity may share your personal information and other information with other Pan-Straits entities or with carefully selected vendors that perform services on our behalf.

We rely on the following legal grounds to process your personal information:

Performance of a contract – To the extent you are a client of Pan-Straits or wish to become one, we may need to collect and use your personal information to perform the services for which you have contracted with us. Pan-Straits is the name and brand under which the members of Pan-Straits E&P, LLC (Pan-Straits Legal, LLP, Pan-Straits Resources, LLC and Pan-Straits Services, LLC), and certain entities under common ownership with such members, operate as separate legal entities (collectively, “Pan-Straits entities”). The use of the name Pan-Straits, and references to the autonomous but affiliated Pan-Straits entities collectively as a group, are for description purposes only and do not imply that the entities are in partnership together, nor that one Pan-Straits entity accepts responsibility for the acts or omissions of another. A Pan-Straits entity’s obligation to perform an engagement or other contract with a client or other contracting party is defined in the written agreement between the parties. Pan-Straits E&P, LLC helps coordinate certain activities of its members, but does not itself provide legal or other services to clients. Among the separate Pan-Straits entities, only the law firm of Pan-Straits Legal, LLP provides legal services to its clients in particular jurisdictions.
